YeY, bloggers- here i come!!.....My soon-to-be-2-year-old-and-feel ing-proud-of-it-already daughter.
To all those who are married, are honeymooning after a tirsome Indian wedding , about to get married soon , already are much too married ( and are thinking of the next logical step-No, not divorce silly)-thinking of having babies and are ready with the mis-en-place, if you are in two minds over what t0 choose-boy or a girl?........I strongly recommend a daughter...they are the best thing a man can have in his life.....:)

Aaawww!
Welcome back, ZB. And she is cute as a button:)
This might sound stupid.. but even though I have a LOTA time till i actually have a baby, i have always contemplated (day dreamed!) whether I would want a girl or a boy! :D
This testimony adds an extra point to the "girl" side :)
A great picture of the spirited little lady. My very best wishes to her, and to her parents.
I completely agree with you ZB, daughters are the best. Except when they hit their teens. Then they grow horns and tails and scare you silly. They give you sleepless nights. They argue endlessly, they whine, complain, talk back and throw tantrums. There are tears, drama and foolishness. But we love them anyway. And we can't think of our lives without them.
@All: Thanks Very much
@ Aparna: Boys are no less drama-lovers themselves....when i was of 13 or 14 i almost walked out of the house, and my dad had to search for me and carry back home from the railway station( not that i had any plans of running away, i would have returned after few hours anyway)....we used to have regular fights and all that you mentioned in your case....All these are part of the learning curve...you take home a point only after few tears and verbals...thats something of a natures unspoken law, i guess.:)
What a wonderful picture! So much energy and life!
hehehe thats a cute candid picture :D
Your daughter shows so much spirit and enthusiasm :)
She has grown up! She resembles you a lot! Enjoy fatherhood. When you have a child, you are actually reborn! You discover a whole new side of you. :)
Congratulations on your first post for 2011
